About the Design
“Stay rebel.” Raccoons were brought to Germany in the 1930s—for fur farming; some escaped from enclosures, while others were deliberately released into the wild. Today they are considered an invasive species, and that status alone is sufficient justification for killing them—because they are where humans once brought them but no longer want them to be.
“Invasive” sounds like science. What it really means is: it’s permissible to kill them, at any time, without a case-by-case review. That’s not a solution to a problem caused by humans. It’s a license to kill, neatly packaged in bureaucratic terms.
The raccoon on this patch stands for all those who have been wrongly declared a pest—and yet still remains: stay rebel.

My Fine Art Patches emerge from my inner world—from what moves me, accompanies me, or simply won’t let me go. Attitude, humor, a connection to plants, books, and our fellow animals and fellow humans. They are my expression and a reflection of my belief that design can convey a message and, in doing so, have a personal impact. Each design is a distillation of something real. No feedback and no outside influence to sway me.

All designs are my own—from the initial concept to the finished artwork. It all starts with a feeling, a theme, or an idea, which I then sketch and illustrate. Next, I create the embroidery file myself—line by line and block by block. I embroider the designs using my embroidery machine. Finally, I cut out each piece by hand and finish it according to the type of product. I also handle the packaging myself.

Yes, through and through. I don’t use any animal-derived materials at all—not in the fabric, the threads, or the adhesive. For me, veganism isn’t just an add-on, but the foundation on which everything I do is based and the reason why I do it.

Fine Art Patch
Peel off the white adhesive backing, place the patch where you want it, cover it with a dish towel or parchment paper, and iron it on for one minute at 160 degrees Celsius. If you're ironing it onto a garment that you'll be washing, be sure to also sew it down along the edges. The adhesive doesn't hold very well on its own.Fine Art Charm
The carabiner comes separately for easier transport. Clip it into the eyelet and attach the charm to your bag or your chosen piece of clothing. -
It depends on the edition. Some editions are intentionally limited to a specific number of pieces, while others are reissued at regular intervals after they sell out.

No, that's not possible. Each design is created exactly as I intended it, with the carefully chosen colors and shapes.
