About the Design
Chickens are fascinating animals—with their own social hierarchy, affection for one another, and amazing cognitive abilities. Anyone who spends time with them quickly realizes these are strong personalities.
Yet very few people see a chicken; instead, they see an egg. Behind that often lies suffering—emaciated laying hens and male chicks that are culled because they can’t lay eggs. Even free-range farming doesn’t change this suffering; it’s merely meant to ease our conscience.
Chickens and their eggs aren’t made for us. They exist for themselves.
This fine art piece makes my fascination visible—and serves as a reminder to look beyond the egg and our own habits.

My Fine Art Patches emerge from my inner world—from what moves me, accompanies me, or simply won’t let me go. Attitude, humor, a connection to plants, books, and our fellow animals and fellow humans. They are my expression and a reflection of my belief that design can convey a message and, in doing so, have a personal impact. Each design is a distillation of something real. No feedback and no outside influence to sway me.

All designs are my own—from the initial concept to the finished artwork. It all starts with a feeling, a theme, or an idea, which I then sketch and illustrate. Next, I create the embroidery file myself—line by line and block by block. I embroider the designs using my embroidery machine. Finally, I cut out each piece by hand and finish it according to the type of product. I also handle the packaging myself.

Yes, through and through. I don’t use any animal-derived materials at all—not in the fabric, the threads, or the adhesive. For me, veganism isn’t just an add-on, but the foundation on which everything I do is based and the reason why I do it.

Fine Art Patch
Peel off the white adhesive backing, place the patch where you want it, cover it with a dish towel or parchment paper, and iron it on for one minute at 160 degrees Celsius. If you're ironing it onto a garment that you'll be washing, be sure to also sew it down along the edges. The adhesive doesn't hold very well on its own.Fine Art Charm
The carabiner comes separately for easier transport. Clip it into the eyelet and attach the charm to your bag or your chosen piece of clothing. -
It depends on the edition. Some editions are intentionally limited to a specific number of pieces, while others are reissued at regular intervals after they sell out.

No, that's not possible. Each design is created exactly as I intended it, with the carefully chosen colors and shapes.
