WORLD ANIMAL DAY

Today is World Animal Day and this is an urgent reminder to act empathetically towards animals!! What are you waiting for?
We are not alone on this planet. In fact, we are one of over 55 million species on this planet, yet we behave as if we own the world and have the right to rule over everything and everyone.
The human species has forgotten and unlearned to be humane, as it means to be loving, mindful, caring, compassionate, and protective towards other living beings, and not to act only in self-interest.
Our society teaches us a very anthropocentric view of the world, which states that humankind is the center of the world and everything around us has to obey. It teaches that we have the right to oppress and to take whatever we want.
However, this thinking and behavior goes against our deepest inner values and worldviews and urges for love, peace, and community.
Worst of all, it costs trillions of animals every year their precious lives, their habitat, and their rights to a peaceful existence.
If we don’t start acting now, when will we?
If you love animals, respect them, or at least have the slightest bit of decency and care for the lives of others, then start where you can make the biggest, fastest, and easiest change—with yourself!
Today can be the day you say “enough” and embrace a vegan mindset and lifestyle because you realize that humans have no right to oppress, exploit and ruthlessly murder other animals.
