MOTHERS* DAY
On Mother’s Day we honor the mother* of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
When speaking of a “mother*” I speak of all individuals who have taken on the role of a caring, loving, and protecting mother figure. The bond between a mother* and their child is indisputable. There is nothing like a mother's love, care, and protection throughout the non-human and human animal species.
Mothers* deserve to be respected for who they are and what they do, not just on one day of the year, but each day.
Mothers* are meant to be with their babies and their babies with them.
Mothers* deserve to be protected, loved, and cared for, just like the eternal love and care they have for their babies.
Mothers* deserve to live in freedom and peace, free of harm and they deserve the right to bodily autonomy and motherhood. No matter what species.
This Mother’s Day let’s celebrate our mother*s as well as all other mothers no matter what species. All deserve endless love and hugs! Don’t forget Mother Earth.
Stand up and speak up for the rights of all of them!
