BREEDING OBSESSION & DEGRADATION OF OTHER BEINGS
The way some people talk about all different species of non-human animals shames me and infuriates me and is often a catalyst for the hopelessness I have for the human species. We are far from what is defined as “humane.”
Fortunately, there are also people on this planet who rise above the norm, the system, and themselves, who are perceptive, who want to take responsibility and work every day to be a better version of themselves for both themselves and others.
I don’t even pity people anymore who have absolutely no heart and compassion for others and develop no sense of justice as long as they are doing well. This anthropocentric (human-centered) world view coupled with the speciesism that has arisen from it will not bring a future for humanity. Unfortunately, on the way to the own abyss of our species, it causes so much pain to other innocent beings and takes them to their death.
The time to wake up is now!
What we do to other animals is cruel, violent, and simply inhumane. It contradicts our positive given and developed characteristics of a moral, just, and empathic understanding and leaves everything in chaos and destruction.
Other animals aren’t ours to control, confine, touch against their will, force them to work for us, and breed for human profits and breeding obsession. They are not objects, no commodities, and no possession. They are individuals. Living, breathing, unique, sentient individuals who have rights that our species has taken from them to gain dominion over them.
What kind of person do you want to be? One who participates in the greatest injustice of exploitation, abuse, and murder of animals, or do you see yourself as someone who stands apart and has the decency to respect the life of another?
Do and be better than the society we all grow up in! Do the right thing! Stop using animals! Go vegan! Get active!
