Traveling from Ukraine with your companion animal? Here is what you need to know!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET BEHIND!
A form must be filled out for the companion animals. This can be done online or directly at the borders. You can find the online forms of the respective governments as well as the official reports on the entry down below!

Unchipped and unvaccinated animals will be chipped and vaccinated at the border and registered to their caretaker. They must go into quarantine.

HUNGARY | POLAND | ROMANIA | SLOVAKIA | MOLDOVA*

* No link but Moldova is taking companion animals in. Instructions are provided upon arrival!

The following countries have relaxed regulations! Papers and/or vaccinations are not required in advance but will be provided at the borders. If I am given direct links to official papers, I will create direct links down below (active when underlined)!

BULGARIA | CZECH REPUBLIC | ESTONIA | FINLAND | GERMANY | ITALY | LATVIA | LITHUANIA

Austria has relaxed regulations! There are no papers for entering Austria yet, but must be filled out at the official veterinarian!

Whether non-human animals are domestic, living in the wild, or confined in animal farms, they are hurt. They suffer the consequences of war. People who dedicate their lives to protect and care for animals on sanctuaries and in shelters can’t and won’t leave, but keep rescuing individuals. The number of abandoned, injured, and frightened animals will increase. They need your help!
