Where Art & Activism Meet
Since becoming vegan seven years ago and becoming aware of the injustices done to innocent animals, my life has completely changed. I immediately became interested in having as much of an educational impact as possible on others regarding animal rights and animal liberation through our work, knowledge, learning, and personal experiences.
My interests and vocations in educational work and creative fields complemented each other so well that I founded “RULE OF NINES COLLECTIVE”.
I use my voice, skills, and interests to spread the message of anti-speciesism, anti-oppression, and justice! And you can too!
What’s the meaning behind the RULE OF NINES?
The “rule of nines” is a method of measuring the extent of damage a body has sustained, most commonly in emergency medicine.
Applied to animal activism we see this term pointing out the severity of damage done to non-human animals in the animal industry and wildlife by continuously invading their habitat.
The numerology of the number 9
The energy of the number 9 represents completion, but not finality. It's about the ending of one cycle and the potential it creates for another cycle to begin and acts as a guide in this process of transition or transformation, guiding and empowering us with its wisdom. This number is a humanitarian at heart. It is compassionate, kind, and intent on putting its efforts toward creating the greatest good by providing support.
IX in tarot as a spiritual guide & symbol of personality development
The ninth Tarot card in a Tarot deck is The Hermit. Reflecting the same qualities as the 9 in Numerology, this card carries sage-like wisdom and a connection to the divine; a seeker for the knowledge that comes from within. A lonely wanderer in the path of the night, he searches for that which can only be gained with long periods of solitude - the inner voice. To hear it, he*she must disconnect from the crowds whose voices and desires threaten to overcome their own.
