If you don’t allow yourself to explore, play, express and design, where’s the fun in that?
the designer
Kerstin Brueller (she/her) is a multidisciplinary designer based in Vienna with over 13 years of experience, specializing in brand identity & design, graphic design, illustration and contemporary textile design.
For the past eight years, Kerstin has worked with local and international organizations, animal sanctuaries, freelancers, and vegan brands, applying her design expertise to projects that align with her values. She prioritizes strategic and mindful thinking, ensuring that every visual solution communicates clearly and connects with people. Her focus is on meaningful, intentional design that reflects purpose and personality, without exploiting others—humans or animals.
Working at the intersection of fine art, fashion, and design inspires her to create fine art pieces that are unique, thoughtful, expressive, colorful and most of all personal—available in her onlineshop.
the design
What matters is not only what is seen, but how it is perceived. Visual expression, perception, and composition have always been central to my work in both graphic design, illustration and photography. Design, for me, is a space where personality can grow. Every decision—composition, typography, color choice—shapes an environment in which identity, mood, and intention become visible and resonate with those who experience it.
the expression
I explore expression through theme, form, and color, ranging from the concrete to the abstract. While a motif may initiate the process, my primary interest lies in the emotion conveyed through the sum of all design decisions. I see functionality not as a constraint, but as a tool—one that enhances aesthetics and adds a sense of purpose, pleasure, and refinement to the act of creating.
the process
My work begins with uncovering a brand’s core values and understanding what truly defines it. I work closely with clients to translate these ideas and identity into visuals that are clear, thoughtful, and meaningful. Every decision—from color and form to composition and layout—is made to create a coherent and distinctive design.
the result
I help brands and projects craft the visual language that brings their identity and values to life. My approach to design—and the individual story behind it—is fully focused on creating work that is clear, meaningful, and authentic. The result is visuals that resonate, stand out, and leave a lasting impression.
the inspiration
I draw inspiration from natural shapes and patterns, especially houseplants, the interaction of color and light, and from the clarity and impact of geometric forms in Bauhaus and Mid-Century design. Books and text inform my thinking and provide another layer of expression that flows into how I shape and communicate visually.
the shop
My shop is a space for self-expression and creative freedom. I produce each fine art piece myself, on my own terms, with a focus on design, detail, and purpose. It is where I turn my ideas, interests and voice into tangible, meaningful work—without compromises or external limitations.
